That number deserves a second look. Kayseri sits 78 km from the same valleys yet takes about 1 hour 10 minutes, so choosing Nevsehir saves roughly ten minutes despite being thirty kilometres closer. The Nevsehir road runs through town and across the plateau at a slower average; the Kayseri route uses faster open highway. If a Kayseri flight suits your dates better, the road cost of taking it is small.
