Kemer sits south of Antalya, and the drive gets there in two parts. First you cross the city to Konyaalti, then the road climbs onto the cliff stretch that runs above the sea for the rest of the way.
That first part is what makes the timing vary. Our fastest runs take 58 minutes, our slowest 91, and the difference is almost entirely Antalya traffic rather than the coast road. Afternoon arrivals in July and August sit at the slow end.
Kemer is also longer than most people expect. Beldibi and Goynuk lie before the centre, Camyuva and Tekirova after it, and the strip covers about 30 km end to end. A hotel in Tekirova is a further twenty minutes past Kemer centre, so give us the hotel name rather than the resort name.
